Happy New Year

We had a really great New Year's this year.  We told Kyla that she could try and stay up--of course that was a few days before and even though she woke up on Wednesday sick with a cold she was determined to stay up.  She ended up taking a 2 hour nap that afternoon and then made it to midnight.  We played games and watched a movie.  Adam went to bed earlier so he could get up with AJ in the morning.  Kyla really struggled the last 30 minutes, but she made it.  Someone in our neighborhood set off fireworks and we were able to see a few.  Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures.

Kyla will be starting school again this week and will also start gymnastic lessons--she is excited about both.  I'm just hoping that she starts to feel better and can actually go.  Now we are getting ready for her birthday---and then we will be getting ready for AJs.
