Our House

Here are some more pictures of the house. We are still working on cleaning and finding a place for somethings, but the main areas are getting organized.


This is the front room. We think it was designed as a formal dining area/front room, but we don't plan on putting a table in there. We have an eat in kitchen and one table is enough for us. We actually don't have any furniture to put in it, so eventually we will decided what we want to do with it and buy furniture. Right now it has become the kids toy area for the main floor.

I really like the kitchen. All of our kitchen stuff can actually fit in the kitchen!!! And I like all the counter space for cooking.

This is the backroom. It is right off the kitchen. It has a gas fireplace and is prewired for surround sound, so maybe we will get a surround system someday.

This is the loft upstairs. It looks down into the front room. We decided to make this a quite area for reading and listening to music.

This is Kyla's room.

This is the downstairs playroom. We pretty much made the whole downstairs the kids area. There is a bedroom down there that will eventually be made into a guest bedroom, but right now is storing all the stuff we don't know what to do with. In Maryland we always had some toys put away---we were pretty amazed how many the kids actually had when we put them all together!

This is the rest of the play area--on the other side of the half wall. We made this part a mini house with the kitchen, table and Kyla's baby things.

We are still working on the office and I didn't get a picture of our bedroom so I'll have to put those up later!
