While my parents were in town we decided to check out The Butterfly Pavilion. Along with butterflies they also had a bug room---not a place that I really took a liking to, looking at different kinds of cockroaches isn't my idea of fun! Kyla and AJ however thought it was really neat, and Kyla decided she would hold Rosie--a very big spider!
They had a kids play area that had pretend honeycomb for the kids to climb thru and on. And they had a pretend spider web for the kids to climb on.
And of course they had butterflies. On a good day they have about 100 butterflies hatch. They do a release twice a day so we made sure to be there for one. The guy talked about some of the butterflies and then would release them. 
This one is actually a moth because it has fuzzy antennas.
