We had to get AJ a bike helmet so that he could ride his bike he was getting for his birthday and so he can ride in the seat on my bike. He decided he really liked his new helmet and wore it all morning. What could be better than sitting on the couch wearing a bike helmet, playing with "choo choos" and watching "choo choos".
He eventually decided that he also wanted to wear the elbow pads but could only slip them on as far as his wrist.
And yes he even kept in on while we took Kyla to school---falling asleep on the way home like he usually does. I thought it looked very uncomfortable--but he didn't seem to think so.
He really likes going on rides with mom--especially since we have ridden to parks where he gets to go play! He can't quite reach the pedals on his new bike well enough that he can actually pedal but hopefully by summer he will be tall enough and I will get some pictures.
And here is Kyla deciding what she wants to ride---her scooter, her old bike that is too small, or her big bike that she's not quite sure about yet!
