This is the outside of our new house in Aurora. We don't have very good pictures of the inside--only a printout from the listing--so they will have to wait until Oct 7 when we get to move in.
Right now we are busy getting everything that we want to take with us in the van together so it doesn't get packed in boxes. The movers come Monday to start packing us up. Its hard to believe that we only have 4 more days here in Baltimore!
We will be leaving Sept 18 and taking our time to travel across country. We will be making several stops on the way to visit family and friends. We will also be picking up Adam's life size Yoda. We will be arrive in Aurora Sept 24 and living in a hotel until we get our house. Adam starts work Sept 29 and Kyla will be starting school Sept 30. While we were in Aurora, we were able to get Kyla registered for school. The school that she will be going to is year round. The track (schedule) that she will be on is on a three week break right now and will start back on Sept 30. It's half-day kindergarten and she will be going in the afternoon. We also got to meet her teacher while we were there. Her name is Ms. Connor--which is easy for Kyla to remember since she has a cousin Conner! Kyla has been in a much better mood since we've been back from our trip. I think she is now excited to move since she knows what to expect and is looking forward to school. Although she is very sad to leave her friends. I am looking forward to it all being over and getting back into a routine. I think we will all be glad when the end of Oct comes as we should be settled in the new house by then and we will be done with the house here in Maryland. I am very glad that we were able to get into the guarenteed home sale program since our house has been on the market for almost 4 weeks now and we've had 3 people look at it and no offers.
