This is the kids with their Great-Grandma Darlene. We are very glad that we got to visit before we left the east.
After leaving Adam's Grandma's we went to Dayton to visit some friends. This is Kyla, Ella, and AJ. Ella is 3 months younger than Kyla and they were both born in Albuquerque. We did alot with Ella's family until they moved from Albuquerque when Kyla was 18 months old. It is really cute because they both say they are best friends--this is the second time that they have seen each other since Ella moved from Albuquerque.
Kyla had lots of fun with Ella. We went mini golfing and to a petting farm. We also picked up Yoda but forgot to get pictures before loading him in the van. And we weren't able to load him in such a way that we'd be able to get him out along the way for pictures. So Yoda is stuck in the van for two more days until we get to Denver.
We did manage to stop at a Walmart in Indianapolis to buy everyone Colts shirts. We also drove by their new stadium.
We ended up picking a good hotel on the west side of St. Louis---at least location wise. We got a package of papers from the relocation company the day before we left Baltimore and most of it had to be signed in front of a notary. We ended up having a Bank of America a block from our hotel so we were able to get that done. And tomorrow morning we will go to the FedEx Kinkos that's really close by so we can get them copied and sent back! It was nice to get that taken care of. We now have 2 more days of driving and then a couple weeks in a hotel---but we can see the light at the end of the tunnel!
