We now have a new home---or at least we will in about a month. We were able to find a home that we like. It has 3 bedrooms upstairs--one is purple with flowers painted on the wall, one is blue, and the master bedroom. Kyla really like the flowers on the wall and is excited that it will be her room. The yard is much smaller than the one we have but there is a park just down the street. For the most part we like the house--there are just a few quirks in the basement. It is fully finished which is really nice, but there is a wet bar with alcohol wall paper above it (that we will be removing), the bathroom is painted Denver Broncos colors (we will be repainting it), and there is a urinal in the bathroom (that will have to stay--maybe it will help AJ potty train). But overall it was much better than any of the other houses that we saw. I think we will be very happy in it for quite a few years. We will be closing on Oct 7 and will send the address out to everyone as that date gets closer. Kyla is excited to get to registar for school tomorrow. And we will get to spend some time at the house tomorrow for the house inspection---hopefully we will get a picture or two to put up.
Both the kids are having a hard time with the trip. AJ is teething and miserable. Kyla doesn't do good when she doesn't know what to expect and this week things keep changing. I have a feeling that we will be having a very grumpy girl until the middle of October. Hopefully Adam and I will survive the next month will all our hair!!!
