We decided to have fun and do some work on the long weekend. A friend from Maryland was in town visiting family and we were able to go bowling with them. Kyla had fun seeing Sydney again, its hard to tell if AJ remembered her or not.
The bowling alley that we went to had the "racks" to help the little ones bowl and you could set the bumpers up or down for each player, so that was neat. Both Kyla and AJ enjoyed the bowling.
And we worked on our front yard. We were able to get the bushes in front of the steps removed and we got the tree taken down. Now for the bushes in front of the porch, then planting new ones! I already think it looks much better and am excited to look out our front windows and see something besides a big tree!
The weather wasn't the greatest--it rained at some point every day. But Sunday morning was nice enough to go hiking. I'm putting up another post for the hike since there are so many pictures!
